- Advancements due for spring Court of Honor
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Troop Elections - Senior Patrol Leader - 05/15 - Nominate SPL Candidates -- THIS THURSDAY
- Scouts that have achieved the rank of First Class or better are eligible to become a SPL nominee
- All scouts should seriously who has the qualities needed to be a successful leader of the troop
- someone that you believe can be organized,
- can make fair/sound decisions,
- is dedicated,
- has a good work ethic
- and always performs for the good of the troop.
- This is NOT a popularity contest

NJ State Trooper/NJ National Guard Camporee -- THIS WEEKEND - Departure
- 5:00pm - Meet at the church
- 5:15pm - Departing from the church -- firm departure time
- The sooner we get to Sea Girt the better (we are competing against 8000 other scouts that are arriving at or about the same time)
- Drivers
- I have 6 parking passes to take 27 people including the adult towing the trailer
- I ask those that are driving to bring high-capacity vehicles (about 5 per vehicle)
- Once the car is parked in the field you cannot leave until Sunday morning at 10am
- Gear
- Class A uniforms are required and will be worn for the majority of the weekend
- You may wear other clothing when you are within the campsite
- Bring your rain gear/boots; the forecast is calling for an all-day soaking rain on Friday
- Setup
- We will set up the garage first and have folks assemble tents inside the garage before they are place around the camp site
- Activities
- There will be an Order of the Arrow food drive; please bring non-perishable items with you
- We will need to follow a strict schedule this weekend
- There will be a lot of really cool exhibits and demonstrations
- Mr. Bludgus and Mr. Pitarresi will provide other information
Summer Camp Information - Mr. O'Brien will provide key information he gathered from his visit to Ockanickon
- 05/29 - Merit Badge Selections
- 06/08 - BSA Swim Test at the YMCA in Freehold
- 06/30 - BSA Medical Forms are due (A, B, C form)
