When:  6:00 Sharp on February 3rd, 2011 at the Lutheran Church.  (try to get there before 6:00 so we can start on time)

 

1.  Please bring a copy of your worksheet (printable from the Scout Webpage)

2.  Watch the evening news or read a Newspaper between now and the meeting.  (5 days total)

     I would like the scouts to be prepared to discuss current events in the news.

3.  Start thinking about places to visit to satisfy the requirement to visit a National Historic Landmark and Government Building.

4.  Look at the Constitution (online) and be able to talk about what the "Preamble of the Constitution" means to them.

5.  Pick 3 historic speeches in American History and why they were picked.

 

This should be a good presentation for a required badge.  I am going to try to keep it interesting and get participation from the scouts.

I will not make it a history test...
