We are planning a camping trip to Curtis Read Scout Reservation in Brant Lake, NY for the weekend of June 2 - 4, 2017. The scouts will be visiting Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course in Bolton Landing, NY.  They will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of treetop aerial adventure courses, as well as zip lining. The cost will be $60 for scouts. Chaperones fees will be waived for camping and meals. However, if any adult wishes to participate in the treetop adventure course activity there will be a fee of $45.  Everyone participating in the Adirondack Extreme activity must have a waiver form filled out and returned with the permission slip.  All scouts must have a parent’s signature on the waiver form. For scouts that do not wish to participate in the treetop adventure we are planning an excursion to visit Fort Ticonderoga in Lake George. The cost will be $40 for scouts. Chaperones fees will be waived for camping and meals. However, if any adult wishes to participate in the Fort Ticonderoga activity there will be a fee of $23. This is a tent camping trip. Scouts will need to bring tents, sleeping bags, personal gear, and sturdy closed-toed shoes or boots. No open toed shoes allowed on the treetop course.

The Troop will be meeting at the Adelphia Firehouse on Friday at 4:00 PM for departure. All scouts attending must be accounted for at that time. For any other arrangements or changes, you must notify the scoutmaster in advance.

***Deadline for permission slips, waiver forms, and fees must be received no later than Thursday, May 25th.*** Dues must be paid up to date in order to participate.

If anyone has any questions, please contact Mrs. Goldberg at (732) 618-1900.
