This course gives adult leaders the practical knowledge they need to help Scouts to learn outdoor skills. The skills presented closely follow the Boy Scout Handbook and rank advancement requirements. The purpose of the course is to ensure that new leaders are familiar with the basic outdoor skills at the Tenderfoot through First Class levels, and to show them some proven teaching methods.
