The next camping trip will be held at Whitewater Challengers in Weatherly PA. We will be rafting down the Lehigh river. We will be spending about 3 hours on the river with a stop for lunch. Things to know about this trip. - We planned this for a non dam-release weekend, meaning the water will be calmer - this is in consideration of the younger scouts
- The plan is to conduct the swim tests for Summer Camp prior to this trip - only scouts classified as swimmers will be allowed to attend.
- I understand that Sunday the 14th is Fathers Day - we should be back by 1PM at the latest.
- The cost of the trip will be about $100 (which includes rafting, camping and meals) - won't know for sure until we book.
- Availability may be limited - As of right now, there are only two trips available for 6/15 10:15 (16 slots) and 10:35 (18 slots)
- I would like to book this weekend, so we will need a headcount for this Thursday's meeting. With the limited number of slots, there's a good possibility that if you do not commit this Thursday, there may not be any slots available.
- Permission slips and waivers will be available shortly.
