Reminders to New Parents

These items are needed as soon as possible (by March 8 meeting):
  • Official BSA "Youth Application" (the carbonless form)
  • Troop 150 New Scout Information Sheet (see link, below)
  • Medical Form
    • Part A & Part B (no doctor's visit needed for those parts)
    • Plan on doing Part C with your doctor some time before summer camp
    • Download from Scouting.org (don't even bother to print "Part D"... its long!)
  • The "Youth Protection Pamphlet"
    • remove from the front of the scout handbook 
    • parent and scout to sign the cover
  • $10 dues for month of March
    • check made out to Troop 150
    • or: pay $30 to cover the dues rest of the school year
We hope your scout will be joining us for our first campout, in which case these are also due by March 8 meeting:
  • Quail Hill Trip permission slip (see link, below)
  • $25 payment (check to Troop 150)
We also hope you'll consider supporting the Troop as a Committee Member, and/or by participating in campouts once in a while.  In which case, you'll need to fill out:
  • Official BSA "Adult Application"
Each of these things goes to a different committee member, but we'll help you get them to the right place.  Just drop by the kitchen during  the Troop meeting and we'll re-introduce everyone.

One last thing: it is our preference that we include each adult in your household on our email list.  Also, if your son has an email account, we'd like to include that, too.  So please:
  • Email additional family email addresses for our announcement emails to "announce@t150f.com"
(We don't disclose our email addresses to anyone: no outside party, not even to other scout families.)
