We are planning our annual overnight ski trip to Shawnee Mountain Ski Resort, PA from Saturday, February 11th until Sunday, February, 12th. The Troop will be hitting the slopes for two fun days of skiing or snowboarding. Snow tubing is also available and can be done in addition to skiing or snowboarding or by itself. I am happy to say that because we booked early we were able to take advantage of last year's rates so there has been no price increase. Price includes an overnight stay at the Shawnee Church Hostel, breakfast on Sunday morning, and one meal voucher good for either Saturday or Sunday at the lodge. Family members and friends are allowed to participate to take advantage of our special group rates. Each person participating will be required to fill out a permission slip and fill out the quick rental information if applicable (quick rental instructions will be posted here by next week). *Note: Lift
tickets are valid from 3:00pm until close on Saturday, 2/11, and from Open until 5:00pm on
Sunday, 2/12. Prices are listed below if you are planning to ski or snowboard: $100.00 – All Area Lift Ticket (Sat & Sun) AND Ski or Snowboard Rental $ 75.00 – All Area Lift Ticket Only (Sat & Sun)
Additional options listed below: $ 65.00 – Snow Tubing – 2 hour session (as a standalone/no skiing or snowboarding) $ 27.00 – Snow Tubing – 2 hour session (in addition to skiing/snowboarding) $ 12.00 – Helmet rental (All Scouts must wear a helmet when skiing/snowboarding in accordance with BSA rules. You may rent a helmet or bring your own.)
Scouts need to bring cash for any additional meals, snacks, or incidentals.
The Troop will be meeting at the Hope Lutheran Church on Saturday afternoon at 12:00pm for departure to Shawnee Mountain. All scouts attending must be accounted for at that time. For any other arrangements or changes, you must notify the scoutmaster in advance. ***FINAL Deadline for permission slips & fees: Thursday, February 2, 2017*** ****IMPORTANT:
All Shawnee Mountain Ski Trip Participants who are renting equipment
must complete Quick Rental Instructions and follow
the instructions to preregister for their equipment. Quick rental instructions will be provided here by next week. THIS MUST BE COMPLETED prior to your arrival at Shawnee Mountain. Each member that is participating will need to be registered with your information and review and agree to the Release of Liability Agreement. *IMPORTANT:

THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT. IN ALL CASES, THE PARENT (OR
GUARDIAN) IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING THE AGREEMENT DECISION. By

equipment and/or lift tickets are will be ready upon your arrival. If you have
