The Troop is planning a day trip to Shawnee Mountain Ski Resort, PA on Saturday,
January 24, 2015 for a fun day of skiing or snowboarding. Snow tubing is also available and can be done
in addition to skiing or snowboarding or by itself. Family members and friends are gladly welcome to
participate in order to take advantage of our special group rates. Each person participating
will be required to fill out a permission slip. All pricing for trip options are listed below.
$60.00 – All Area Lift Ticket, Ski or Snowboard Rental, and 1½ hour Group Lesson $60.00 – All Area Lift Ticket and Ski or Snowboard Rental $38.00 – All Area Lift Ticket You must choose one of the options listed above if you are planning to ski or snowboard.*Note for scouts: Skiing or snowboarding is required if you are planning to take the Winter Sports Merit Badge with Mr. Pitarresi. $27.00 – Snow Tubing (this can be a stand alone option or can be in addition to skiing/snowboarding.) $ 9.00 – Helmet rental (All Scouts must wear a helmet when skiing/snowboarding (BSA rules). You may rent a helmet or bring your own. Scouts need to bring their own lunch or bring cash to buy lunch. We will be meeting at the Hope Lutheran Church on Saturday morning at 6:30am for departure to Shawnee Mountain. We are planning to arrive at Shawnee by 8:00am so we can get a full day of fun in.
