Our next camping trip will be a survival skills camping trip at Tom Brown Jr's Tracking School in Waretown NJ. Tom Brown Jr. is an naturalist, tracker, and survivalist who was trained in wilderness and tracking skills by his best friend's grandfather - a Native American named Stalking Wolf. The 4 Elements Earth Education is a group affiliatted with Tom Brown who teaches these skills to youth groups. In my previous troop we have had programs with this organization and we have always had a great program. Both the scouts and adults will learn a lot and have a blast doing it. The cost for Scouts is $78 for camping, program activity, and meals. The cost for adults is $58. We will be camping in tents and will need to bring sleeping bags and personal gear. The Troop will be meeting at the Adelphia Firehouse at 5:30 PM for departure. All scouts attending must be accounted for at that time. For any other arrangements or changes, you must notify the scoutmaster in advance. ***Deadline for permission slips & fees is Thursday, April 11, 2019 *** Also, dues must be paid up to date in order to participate.
