This is Mr. Greg Karn writing under Mr. Alex Karn's sign-in, because as everyone knows, I can't figure out computers. A few days ago, Luke McLaughlin, one of our Eagle Alumni, asked me if he could borrow Troop 150's open trailer for a day or two. Because the trailer is actually titled and registered under my name, I said OK. As anyone who pulls that trailer knows, the tail-lights have been in a patched-together condition for a few years. I looked at trailer this morning, and found that while Luke had it, he took the time and expense to put on brand-new tail-lights, and completely re-wire the trailer. By my reckoning, this makes Luke Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, and Thrifty. This was also a Good Turn, and exemplifies the Leave No Trace principle of leaving things better than you found them. THANK YOU LUKE!!!!! |
