Permission slips, fee, and waivers are due this Thursday, September 30, for the trip to Lake George, NY, from October 15-17.We will be tent camping at Lake George Escape Campground in Diamond Point, NY, and going to Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course in Bolton Landing, NY. This will be a fun and exciting trip for all of the scouts! The adventure course has five different progressive courses for varying skill sets, with zip-lines, rope swings, scrambling walls, hanging nets, wobbly bridges and suspended “surprises. The fee for this trip is $50, which includes the activity, camping, and meals. The Troop has partially subsidized this trip to keep costs down. As noted above, besides the Troop permission slip, this trip will require a waiver to be signed (for the adventure course). You can click the links for the permission slip and waiver form to download and print. I have also attached the forms and will have copies available at the meeting this Thursday, September 30. We will need adult volunteers to drive, and we will also need a few adult volunteers to accompany the scouts on the adventure course. Also, to save on costs and on the environment, we plan on fitting as many scouts and adults as can be safely accommodated in each vehicle so we can keep the number of vehicles to a minimum. Thanks, Chris Kelly Troop 150 Tour Coordinator |
