We will be camping at Wharton State Forest from Friday evening, 10/3 until Sunday, 10/5. The cost is $25 for scouts and it will be free for adults that are providing transportation. The price including camping and 3 meals. You will need to bring tents, sleeping bags, personal gear, and class B uniforms. Scouts will be setting up base camp on Friday night and then backpacking on a hiking trip through the Mullica River Trail on Saturday. Scouts will need to carry all of their necessary equipment to set up an overnight camp at another remote location on Saturday night so pack lightly to lessen your load. You should include a meal that you will need to prepare for yourself on Saturday night. Scouts will then be returning to base camp on Sunday morning.
The Troop will be meeting at the Hope Lutheran Church on Friday evening at 5:00 PM for departure. All scouts attending must be accounted for at that time. For any other arrangements or changes, you must notify the scoutmaster in advance.
