Church Cleanup 4/5/14 Hope Lutheran Church, Freehold, NJ

During this cleanup the church provided us with pizza however my fellow scouts that is not why this event was important.

For the first time I felt we had teamwork, we had our ups and downs ( I am sorry Chris for the kinds of work you had to put up with) but in the end we all got along and got the job done. As an added bonus Shane was operating a tractor helping out in the front with the dirty work.

Around Noon was when I can say 75% of the troop was there and during that time we had accomplished so much. Even when it was towards the end,  when we had only a few scouts we got the job done!

The project went smoothly and for once everyone pitched in and no one was standing around. If we could cooperate like this every time we are tasked with a job our camp-outs would be more enjoyable.

My fellow scouts,  I haven't much to say about this event other than it was MOST notable for the camaraderie of the scouts.

Yours in Scouting,

Christian Smith
